Hello!
In the 12 years old of my life, I have not read all the books in the world. However, during those years I have discovered some great books that I would like to share with you.
First off, Harry Potter by J.K.Rowling. This is a classic, and it does not disappoint. Even though there are many books in the series, my favorite would definitely be the first one, when Harry Potter is introduced to the charming world of magic and wizardry. This book just pulls you in, with the introductions to characters that are good, with te adventure, and the overall struggles of being at school.
Another outstanding book I have read is " A Curse for True Love" by Stephanie Garber. This is the last book of a series called: "Once Upon a Broken Heart". The whole series is overflowing with adventure, romance, and plot twits. Evangeline Fox, who has rose gold hair, meets a Fate, Jacks, the Prince of Hearts when the "love of her life"is going to get married with her sister. She is desperate to stop the wedding and begs Jacks to do something. He does. However she now owes him, this whole series follows the Prince of Hearts and Evangeline as their relationship grows into something very strong. My personal favorite is the last book, when Jacks and Evangeline finally win their happily ever after.
An awesome series to read is, "Percy Jackson and The Olimpians by Rick Riordan. This is a well known series and I have no favorites since all the books are exceptional. I love these books because each of them have their own plot but there is a general "big bad guy" that the protagonist ends up defeating in the last book. I believe the author incorporated the perfect amount of action, romance and life lessons in these books, making them very enjoyable. The books are also based off of Greek mythology and you learn so much about Greek gods and Myths by the end of the series.
Lastly, "Dungeons and Drama" by Kristy Boyce. This book is not part of a series and it is quite different than the rest of the books I've mentioned because this is more " romantic comedy style". Even though this book does not have action in it, it is hilarious, and encompasses the challenges of relationships so well. Riley Morris is stuck working in her dad's store, that sell games. There she meets Nathan Wheeler. As the world falls apart around her, she asks Nathan to help her in return Nathan needs to make his "game girl crush" jealous, so they start "dating". What they don't realize is how close they get and soon they don't have to act anymore to like each other. I hope these recommendations helped! Keep reading!
Sincerely, Luisa Rodriguez
